Meet The Face Behind Stroma Automation Solutions Inc.

I’m Claudel Leveille, the proud owner of Stroma Automation Solutions Inc.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I’ve been in the Automation industry for over twenty-two years. It includes eighteen years of helping to build Stroma Automation Solutions Inc. from the ground up.

We pride ourselves on taking a customer-centric approach to the design and development of process controls. It means we are a one-point company to integrate, program, supply, install, wire, maintain, service, support, and upgrade automation systems which excites me.

Therefore, when I got the opportunity to take over the company and lead operations two years ago, I jumped at the chance. The position has put me in the driving seat to expand and serve the Northern Ontario region better.

It’s a slow and steady process as I’m new to the business aspects. However, I don’t sweat the small stuff, and I’m not shy to ask questions and seek help if I lack knowledge. I’ve also been a certified electrician for twenty-five years which comes in handy.

Over the past two decades, I’ve noticed instrumentation technology has evolved rapidly. Previously, a physical connection for every value had to get wired to the process control. However, the new ethernet connectivity enables us to bring every instrument value to the control process through a single ethernet cable.

Also, earlier, it was necessary to program buttons on the instrument to communicate to the process control. However, now a single phone app connected through Bluetooth is commonly used, making it a wireless world.

I enjoy the challenges of the new control processes and staying at the forefront of a changing industry. Learning new things and providing optimum solutions to satisfy clients’ needs have made me successful.

I also attribute my success to maintaining seven core values. These include creativity, communication, self-confidence, services, perseverance, open-mindedness, and rest. I’m now looking to find workers that share the same values and work ethic to help me expand.

To elaborate on my core values: I empower my team to use their imagination to solve problems and request that information is relayed correctly for better understanding. Employees should also recognize their skills and find fulfillment in sharing talents with co-workers without expecting anything back. Even if they disagree with an idea, they should still be willing to consider the concept.

In addition, they must persevere, as ‘A winner never quits and a quitter never wins.’ Finally, it’s essential to know when to stop and rest the mind and body, to come back fresher when it counts.

Therefore, I love to read books, go fishing, and do ward work in my downtime. I also care for my elderly parents and spend quality time with my friends and family. In addition, I feel strongly about protecting the environment and creating prosperity for all. If we leverage technology and all do our part, we can leave the planet in a better condition for the next generation.
